Nothing we didn’t like, except leaving it that is!!

Yew Tree felt like the quintessential farm cottage- full of apple trees, plenty of flowers, and lush meadows. It was romantic, cozy, and peaceful. There is also a sweet farm cat that greets you when you arrive and an amazing Aga stove to make you feel like a professional chef. If you are looking for a romantic getaway this is your place!

There is plenty of cookwares but no containers. Be prepared to go to the store for napkins, basic condiments, and paper towels.

Absolutely nothing .

The rooms were spacious, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The garden seating was good quality with a view onto a pretty garden.

At times there was traffic noise from a nearby road but this was not a problem.

Large spacious accommodation very nicely decorated with everything you need for a staycation. Kitchen was awesome and the wood burning stove was a dream. Bedroom is massive and very comfy. Nice bottle of welcome cider and vintage cheese left in the fridge and all the basic staples to cook with. Views are amazing too. Cannot fault this property.

Sink in the kitchen blocked up a little but we managed!

The cottage looked amazing and exceeded our expectations. Everything was good quality and comfortable, and we got to learn how to use an Aga! The cat was incredibly friendly and ran to us every time we opened the door. We plan to come again and would recommend Yew Tree to anybody looking to stay in the area.
