We hired 2 caravans opposite each other for our family weekend away. Both were really lovely & well equipped. The bikes were a definite bonus as we didn’t realise how big the site was.

The only thing we could have benefited from were bin bags. All other cleaning supplies were provided.

"Needs a clean!!!!"

4.0

The only real positive was the hot tub, which was clean and in good working condition.

We were really excited about our stay, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The location itself was lovely, but the cleanliness of the caravan was extremely disappointing. I’ve stayed at a lot of caravans over the last 10 years with my friends and I’ve never had the experience I had this time with my family. Also I’d like to add that I’ve stayed at tattershall lakes before in a caravan that was priced at £450 same as I paid for this and the difference was unbelievable!!! Although advertised as a 3-bedroom caravan, it actually had 4 rooms—1 double and 3 twin rooms. This was confusing and should be accurately reflected in the listing. Cleanliness was a major issue. The bedding smelt damp, and there were no oven gloves, tea towels, hand towels provided or soap. The cooker was greasy, and surfaces like doors, light switches, and sockets were visibly dirty. Windows and the TV screen hadn’t been cleaned, and the mirrors were blurred and needed a proper polish. Inside the kitchen cupboards, there were leftover crumbs, and the fridge was missing the shelf where milk should go—so we had to remove a drawer to stand the milk upright. Worse still, the curtains and blinds were stained, and some curtains—shockingly—had mould growing on them, including the ones right above the kids' beds. This is a serious health concern and completely unacceptable. Overall, the caravan is in desperate need of a thorough deep clean. We paid £450 for 3 nights, but given the condition of the van, it felt more like a £250 experience. Tattershall itself is great, and we’ll definitely return—but next time, we’ll be booking through Away Resorts as they include the passes in the price of the vans. If you hire privately that’s an extra cost. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re prepared for some cleaning work yourself.

"It’s a lovely mobile home, we enjoyed our short stay, very competitively priced."

8.0

Very homely and comfortable.

Picky point but a set of matching glasses would be nice. Two plastic wine glasses and random drinks glasses were all that were available. Storage for the outside cushions, which were soaking during our stay.

"A pleasant stay with a hot tub, set in an ideal location on the camp all within a reasonable price. We didn’t purchase t"

The caravan was ideal for what we needed. The location was is an ideal spot for us with us being just a 3minute walk to other members of our groups caravans and about a 5-10 minute walk to the amenities. The hot tub keeps a decent temperature but the jet nozzle was broken so could not turn the power of the jets up and was on the bare minimum.

There’s a few things that need a bit of attention like the cooker hood not working, the hot tub jets/nozzle fixing, a couple of the doors have shifted and need to lift to shut. The handle on main bathroom door is loose and if not held at right angle it’s difficult to unlock and get out. But these little things didn’t ruin the weekend just some slight suggestions of what needs fixing
