The cottage was cosy and very clean. It was in the prefect location close to the beach and High Street. A lot of effort had been made by Rebecca to make sure we had everything we needed for our weekend away, thank you.

"We thoroughly enjoyed the town of Nairn and its environs. visited different places ,weather was fine"

7.0

The location was perfect apart from the parking. near the beach and the town so lovely.

The kitchen was rather small for us. We are both tall and found difficulty with the stairs. and you could only get 2people round the table to eat breakfast and at that one had to sit in the kitchen. The television did not work at all fortunately I had my ipad with me and so could access the news.

Great little cottage, clean, cozy, comfortable and super location. Really well equipped and very quiet. Only a couple of minutes walk to free car park and maybe double that to the beach.

Nothing.

"A lovely, nostalgic visit in a nice location with fine weather. It was so good to see Nairn again."

9.0

The location was great. I stayed in this exact same place on holiday back in the early 1970s and the memories came flooding back, especially when I saw the tiny second bedroom and the quaint twisty stairs. I remembered the tiled fireplace in the main bedroom. Grew to love it all over again. Nairn has so many good things going for it, and we found some nice local restaurants. Ozzy's does a fantastic cranachan. The weather was beautiful for September! Great seeing the links again and travelling out to Auldearn, Forres, Burghead and Elgin. Did a good, detailed walking tour of Fishertown where the cottage is located.

We had trouble with locking the door at first. Ian kindly came round and showed us that you really have to push the handle up incredibly hard and fast to close it properly. Maybe add that detail to the little instruction sticker at the door for folk who aren't used to this type of lock. Once that was sorted it was easy. The TV was a bit confusing at first, but after some trial and error and pushing of buttons it worked out okay. All was fine.
