3 Bed Farnborough Air Accommodation

Location

Despite making sure that the property booking has a comment that it should be cleaned. The overall was cleaned but there is a lot of dirt and grime buildup. There is a lack of cooking facility and the oven and grill has a lot of dirt buildup. Also there is no real parking or dishwasher with this property, despite what it might say of the advert.

The place was neat. Nice open plan. Craig was nice. Bathroom and toilets clean. Wifi available which is always great. I would stay here again.

1.Blinds in the living/dining area doesnt work properly/ broken. Please replace them with new ones as people were looking in from outside. 2. The carpet on the stairs coming down was really slippery. Dangerously so. Two of the guests slipped towards the bottom of the stairs into the kitchen. Where you place your feet is very small on the stairs so you find your feet at the edge and its very slippery material. Cant emphasize this enough. Please do something about it.

Great communication from Craig. Easy to self check in. Good location and appreciated being able to leave our bags before check in time.

I think the photos are a bit old. Things felt a little run down. I also think that the accommodation has quick cleans between guests without deep cleans. For example I could see the beds and floors had been cleaned but there were so many cobwebs!! One lamp was not working, there were no bowls or knives other than a bread knife or cutlery. I would have struggled to cook any meals. Also found some dishes were not clean. Ladies would also appreciate if there were bins in the bathrooms. Otherwise it just feels like things could be replaced like lumpy duvets and stained sofa. Was also disappointed that there was only one outdoor chair when there were two in the picture.

The location was ok.

We arrived at 4pm check in time to an open lock box with no key, rang the contact number and had to wait 40 minutes for someone to turn up with a key which isn’t great when you’ve travelled 6 hours in a car with 2 young children. Property was dirty and very dated, pictures must’ve been taken a long time ago. Freezer was dirty, fridge stunk and there’s food left in the cupboards. Why not just empty these after each stay? Probably don’t get checked. Back gate was wide open and the garden had what we presume was cat poo and cigarette butts scattered, so we couldn’t sit out, ash trays were also full from previous people. Marks all over the walls, no hairdryer as stated, springs hanging out from under the couch, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. There was an old make up bag in the bathroom drawer looks like it’s sat there for a long time. Wouldn’t really reccomened.

Not cleaned to an acceptable standard, many broken items, poor pillows, dirty/marked walls, loose fittings ie curtain poles, broken smoke alarm

Clear information on booking, would have been so helpful because we would not have booked as we didnt have the large deposit required.

The house was spotlessly clean and warm , The host had given very clear directions to get into the house. Everything lived up to our expectations.

Good communication. No hassle Quick deposit return . So for us all good . Would 100% book again

Parking in any town center location can be troublesome, but that’s to be expected.
