Far Hill Cottage

Everything, the location was brilliant, so convenient to visit the local attractions. The cottage was very comfortable and we appreciated the teabags, coffee, sugar and milk. The surroundings fields were a bonus which our dogs thought were amazing

One very small thing, the weather was very cold and we would have appreciated the second radiator in the lounge. The rest of the cottage was as warm as toast.

We had a great stay at Far Hill Cottage even with horrendous weather. There was great communication from the hosts before and during our stay. A storm knocked out the heating which was fixed immediately upon raising it with the hosts. The cottage is so well equipped and is very comfortable with amazing beds. The location is great with a supermarket very close by and lots of beautiful villages to explore in close distance.

The only negative was a leaky shower screen door that resulted in the bath mat becoming saturated. The owner is aware of the issue and taking steps to address it. The property was otherwise a perfect place to stay.

Excellent location- central to lots of beautiful towns. The cottage is in a very quiet location which was brilliant for over bonfire weekend; we didn’t hear a single firework which was great for the dogs. Lovely and warm cottage which was a pleasure to relax in after being out in the autumnal cold weather.

Great location. Lovely views and walks. You can walk around all of the land they own. Good facilities. Great host. Friendly and without intrusion.

The cottage was tucked away in a beautiful spot in Wyck Rissington. We spent 5 days with our daughter,son in law and two year old grandchild, the cottage was homely, had everything we needed and the surroundings were so peaceful.

The grounds for the dogs were amazing and we all enjoyed our walks around the fields. Lovely little welcome pack of milk and chocolate biscuits which went down a treat.

The shower leaks quite a lot which soaks the bath mat. Unfortunately this didn't dry in between days so it was very soggy by the end of the week. More towels/bath mat would help with this
