A Spotless and beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. Very dog friendly with an off lead field. A complimentary cream tea and milk in the fridge were a lovely touch after a long drive. Lots of easily accessible activities nearby (my husband is disabled). Super friendly local people too

We loved everything about our stay at the lodge cottage. It was perfect

There is nothing we didn’t like.

The accommodation was a stone-built lodge and the quality and presentation was excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with Oven, hob, microwave, toaster, washing machine etc, and we were pleasantly surprised to find 4 pints of fresh milk in the fridge, and complimentary tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate etc - unexpected in a self catering lodge. The shower room was also exceptional, walk in shower with rainfall and hand held shower options. Smart TV in the lounge area which I was able to log onto Netflicks etc as well as FreeView. The host was so helpful, with lots of information about local beaches, pubs, restaurants etc. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay again.

Nothing not to like

The owner welcomed us on our arrival, gave us a brief summary of the cottage and gave us tips on the surrounding area, we were then left to our own devices, although if we did need them they were readily available. The cottage was beautifully decorated and was ideal for a couple with a puppy wanting the freedom to come and go as we pleased. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including toiletries, washing up liquid and washing tabs to name but a few. The bed was exceptionally comfortable with lovely bedding and the shower was delightful. There was allocated parking in the gravelled courtyard and each cottage had its own outdoor space with a table and chairs, although we didn’t use these due to the time of year we visited. All in all, it was perfect, thank you to you both. We will definitely be back if we visit the area again.

There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like about the cottage, but if I had to be really picky, there wasn’t a great deal of storage in the kitchen for you to put your/dog food, but this was mainly because the owners had equipped it with everything you could think of.
