Knockerdown Cottages

This was a fabulous place for a family birthday meet up! Great location, well stocked cupboards, brilliant community space, and a swimming pool! The team were great with communication too. Brilliant value for money and super close to a lovely pub.

One bathroom between three rooms did sometimes leave us feeling there was a queue for the loo, but that’s not a problem if you’re organised!

Really comfortable stay. Both the sofas and the beds are really comfortable. Brilliant location for visiting nearby towns and a nice walk down to Carsington Water. Love the concept of what they have done with the place and it’s set in a beautiful location with stunning views.

There were some areas which could have been cleaned better, we had saw ants upon arrival but not to many to bother us during our stay. The water pressure in the shower was very poor.

The property was very clean, spacious and very well equipped. I took my dog with me and he was also very well catered for.

Booking and communication was really easy. The place was in a lovely location and accommodation and facilities were spotlessly clean. Lots of character about the place. Close to walks and pub.

Pool temperature maybe a little on the cold side if I really had to pick something, but that's a matter of preference anyway.

The location, the homely feel, the warmth of the staff, the facilities, the pub across the road, the grounds, and so much more. No doubt we will be back when in the area again.

The cottages were lovely. Very comfortable and great location

It was a lovely cottage, very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were gorgeous and the pool was perfect. It was beyond our expectations.

The only comment I could make was the bed was a bit hard.
