Location was beautiful, not far by car to some lovely walks (recommended Dovedale) and Ashbourne is a very nice village with an abundance of cafes and bars and little shops to explore. The vibe at the cottages was just lovely, and the Knockerdown pub over the road does some amazing food and had very helpful staff. Would 100% stay again

"Amazing, just right for family and friends to get away"

Warmth, comfort and feel of the place was fab! The fact that it was warm when we arrived was lovely! Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt and pepper in pots were an excellent addition

The beds were quite hard, as were the pillows

It was beautifully furnished and clean and had everything you needed for a great stay. Although the cottages were close it seemed very private and peaceful.The location was perfect for visiting the nearby towns or exploring the countryside around and just a short walk to Carsington Water. The pool and games area was great We loved it!
