Charming 2 Bedroom House - Free Parking - Great Location

Location was great. Was really quiet and perfect size for family of 2 adults and 2 children. All the items that were left for us to use was excellent to be able to cook at home and there was not anything we did not have. Very well thought of.

Few minor things that needed working on. Wasn't as polished as pics suggest. Mould in shower, bannister coming away from wall and toilet hook in bathroom was coming off. Funny smell (like stale smoke) when we arrived

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was very clean. Facilities good. Beds and shower very good. The seating area outside was lovely too. Kitchen was a great size.

Almost perfect but you did ask....!! There was black mold around the bath, this was a concern, but could easily be remedied. We needed 2 towels, one for our hair. Most women with long hair do! The light in the lounge was not very good. I do not like a bright overhead bright light, so an uplighter would be good. The lamp was too bright in full view so we placed it by the side of the sofa, but it was quite dark. The outside steps were very uneven if you have children. The artificial smell from the plug in was horrible I'm afraid. I can not stand the chemical smell. Luckily we could turn it off, but it hit us when we arrived and it lingered for a long time.

The garden was private, and the interior decor was calm and relaxing.

Within an hour a wardrobe had fallen on our youngest child, they were not fixed to the wall and very wobbly. We ended up in a&e for 5 hours getting him checked out. I told the property and asked them to use the fixing kits on the back before the next guests came but they didn't confirm that this would be done.

It was convenient and close to drayton manor and other attractions we wanted to visit. The house was warm and secure in a lovely estate. My children loved the fact they had there own rooms and the games that was in the home and of course the back garden is a little sun trap 😀

We used the property in 2023 for visiting family and it was lovely. It was exceptionally clean. We had no hesitation to use it again a year later and it was just as clean. I made a suggestion in 2023 that perhaps for hygiene reasons mattress protectors could be used on the beds. It was lovely to see that this had been done so thank you. The property is kept in excellent order and I fully recommend hiring it.

Perhaps a suggestion would be to use double duvets on the single beds and king size on the double bed for more comfort. Not a problem in the summer but cooler nights as you turn over the covers constantly end up on the floor.
