The Old Coach House

Location was brilliant, especialy if there are mobility problems. Lovely village

self catering the keys were supposed to be collected from the duke of york pub, not there landlord helped with his contacts and obtained the code for the key safe for us. The Coach House itself was perfect . modernised and decorated beautiful everything we needed was there a fabulous holiday cottage.

nothing with the accommodation but the last, eight miles of road to this remote hamlet was single track with few passing places , hazardous driving conditions but nothing the holiday home owners could do about it

Stunning location, house kept to very well standards.

Bigger on the inside, The Old Coach House is a deceptively spacious cottage situated on the Tarka Trail. Fitted with a well equipped kitchen, en-suite and cosy bedrooms and beautiful well lit lounge with stunning views, it was the perfect place to explore the North Devon countryside and nearby beaches. The most we had to travel was an hour to reach our various destinations which included Westward Ho! Woolacombe beach, Bude, Lynford Gorge, Buckland Abbey to name but a few of the beautiful places. We were able to easily adapt our plans due to the inclement weather as there was so much to see. We would also recommend popping into the Duke of York which was situated within the village of Iddesleigh. Lovely atmosphere and good food enjoyed on our first and last night. We would recommend getting your groceries delivered and have refreshments at the Duke of York whilst you wait.

Very cosy & comfortable. The dog's loved lying in front of the log burner after their adventures.
