Caisteal Liath Chalets

Beautiful place in a stunning location, private and remote but close to the facilities if needed. The chalet is very well maintained and equipped. We could have not asked for a better stay.

Wee things - electric shower isn’t great (as someone with thick hair it was quite hard to get it rinsed) and balcony is great in the sun but make sure you’ve some midgie repellent if you want to sit out in the eve!

Wonderful location with great view of Suilven and easy access to hills and scenic drives. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Host answered queries straightaway.

Very cold with all windows open when we arrived with no instructions about how to close them, but host answered message. Decor a little old fashioned but not distasteful. We just put the main electric fire on to keep living area warm so rest of chalet very cold. Didn't like to use heaters in rooms we weren't in. The one on the living room wall didn't appear to work. Smaller lamp on upright lamp didn't work. No instructions for microwave, but finally figured it out. No hot water in taps until we realised there was a hot water switch we had to put on.

Superb location. Owners so welcoming when we arrived. The chalet had everything you could want for a great stay. Thoroughly recommend and we will definitely return
