Torrent Cottage

We liked the cottage setting and surroundings, it was very quiet and Theresa and her family are very nice and accommodating.

Although it didn't affect us, I was surprised the cottage is roughly 4 feet from the owners home, it is attached via an archway, this is not a complaint as we were not affected by it, however if someone is expecting a cottage detached completely this is not, and it was not mentioned to us beforehand that we had to keep doors closed at all times to stop the owners dog entering the property.

Beautiful location, spotless house with every comfort of home. Such a friendly welcome and the tray of goodies was a lovely touch. Fab chill out area outside was just a perfect place to sit in the evenings. Beds were very comfortable with good pillows. Very central to visit places of interest. I highly recommend staying there.

We travelled light and Torrent Cottage had everything necessary for our stay already supplied.

The host was lovely. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. My son met a little friend 🧡. Very friendly people. All the little extras really helped, i will know not to bring a much with me next time. We were lucky to get a few good days. We will defo book again in the summer ☀️

The TVs screen was blue, this didnt bother us as we dont watch too much TV. Just for anyone else staying. Im sure this will be fixed as soon as this is seen.

The host met us on arrival despite the late hour, and was aware of the reason for our visit, which was thoughtful and appreciated. Hosts provided a range of extra's such as breakfast options, toiletries and wealth of local information. Excellent signage ensured we didn't get lost.
