"Our own little world"

Everything. Spent the first 10 minutes in awe of the setting, the atmosphere inside and all the little touches all around, inside and out. Our pooch had the biggest zoomies. The lighting was very romantic and relaxing. There was lots of space in the cabin and different spots to perch yourself and enjoy a calm relaxing night comfortably. The bathroom with the waterfall shower and sink was just so perfect. And a kitchen with everything, hob/oven/microwave/fridge, it felt like home. We loved it all!

Not staying longer than 2 nights. Everything was perfect.

"Amazing place, in particular if you want to cook for yourself"

The cabin is one of the coziest places we've ever stayed in. There's so many little details, from the beautiful garden to the decorations to the cow plushie. We cancelled some of our plans just because it seemed nicer to stay at 'home' and relax. The kitchen and bathroom are equipped perfectly. We were in the area for a visit to Loch Ness, and frankly we think it isn't something one must necessary see when in Scotland - it's just a big lake, like many others - but in hindsight we'd still plan our route the way we did just to be able to stay at this place again.

The walking path behind the cabin - recommendation by the host - is neat, but it was infested by ticks when we walked it. Both of us had 20+ of the little bastards crawling all over us. Removed them in time, but still - a warning would've been helpful (I'm sure our hosts weren't aware, neither were we - didn't see a single tick in two weeks of vacation elsewhere, despite lots of hikes). Sadly it's a bit difficult to utilize the cabin's great kitchen because the next place to shop for groceries is rather far away.

Outside Fort Augustus,dog friendly,beatifull cabin

A opening in the fence so you can take a walk with the dog in the forest. But we don't know if this is legal

gorgeous little cabin which felt like a highland lodge. really well equipped, spotless in a fab location. excellent hosts

mattress was too soft for us… personal preference though.
