The house is very clean and has a nice garden area,and it is in easy reach of the town and tor,there is a pub across the road and very quiet at night.

Nothing really, the road can be a bit busy but that's to be expected in the daytime. I can't say there was anything wrong with the location or the house itself.

The cottage is beautifully decorated and homey, with a fully equipped kitchen, comfy sofas, great beds and a beautiful bathroom downstairs. The washing machine was a plus. The rooms were cozy and the beds very comfortable, with plush pillows and lovely bedding. All the rooms have lots of natural light and one has a nice view of the garden. There's enough storage space for your clothing. We loved to be able to cook, the kitchen has everything you need to prepare proper meals, and we loved the large dining table which allowed us to spread out and do some online work. We loved the crystal names for the rooms and Kate's inspiring artwork around the house. Kate is a great, attentive host, we haven't met but she was quick to reply to any questions and she left a welcome basket of goodies for us. The garden is also lovely and the location is great, 2 minutes from the Chalice Well, about 7 minutes walk to the high street. It was really hot in Glastonbury and the cottage was cool, a great respite after a day out. The internet is stable enough for remote work in the communal areas. We had a lovely stay, thanks Kate, we might be back next year!

Just a few things to note: Wifi is strong downstairs ( kitchen and living room) but sketchy in the rooms ( just in case you plan remote work from your room). There's no mobile signal in the house but apparently it's the case with most cottages in Glastonbury. The house is right on a busy road and you can hear the traffic all day and part of the night, it wasn't an issue for me but some friends used earplugs. The single rooms on the top floor are reached via a very narrow and very steep staircase. The listing gave the impression that the garden was private, but it’s actually shared with the neighboring cottage. We had the use of a small part of it, which was a very cute, small hidden gem up some stairs, while the other cottage has the use of the whole garden. During our stay, the group in the other cottage often sat at a table positioned just outside our window, which looked directly into the area where we were sitting, either at the dining table or in the living room. Their conversations could be quite loud at times, and while they were just enjoying the space, it did make us feel a little awkward and overlooked. Other than this, the place is truly great and we highly recommend it.

Fabulous location. The house was spotless. Everything you needed provided. Beds were super comfortable.

The stairs to the top floor are quite steep. We managed fine but someone even the slightest bit unsteady on their feet would struggle. Internet connection wasn't great and we struggled to connect but Connection in Glastonbury generally is not great

Shower seemed to have no thermostat. Dangerously hot . No internet

Convenience of being near attractions pretty cottage with a beautiful garden

Hard to offload as on a main road don’t have a shower whilst somebody else is using water for washing up or filling the bath!
