Great communication from the Host - available when needed. Everything you needed inside the house. Yes it could do with a small refresh on the decor but nothing serious. For example the front door matt is in need of replacing The furniture was comfy and the beds were excellent Showers/bathrooms all great. Parking very easy right outside Overall a very good property we had a great few days

Nothing terrible. On arrival the heating was turned down low the house was cold - as the house was large it took a good few hours to get the temperature right. After a few hours it was perfect

Good.value for the money paid and a great space for up to 8 people. Comfy beds & easy parking.

As an older property it needs more maintenance and upgrading. Furnishings are basic not in keeping with the property.

Upstairs was clean and showers were great. Location and style of house very good.

I had to clean the kitchen before I could unpack, it was very grubby and oily. Needs a deep clean and only used a couple of cupboards after cleaning thoroughly. Everything was covered in oily fingerprints which seemed unhygienic. Hallway is not a great start to the house. There is a sign to ask to take shoes off but really we all wanted to keep them on, the carpet is filthy rotten and walls/woodwork in disrepair. Boiler leaks in downstairs toilet and leak coming through the back door. Garden is not safe for dogs and the back pathway had a highway plastic barrier to block the path. Found clumps of dog hair in the bedroom of which is an entirely different colour to the two dogs with us . No communication with the pin for the front door and we had to chase when we arrived. I have taken lots of photographs to evidence. Photos below are just a few of the ones taken.

it's a well laid out house which is nicely decorated and has a great feel to it. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious with a big enough dining table. It was useful to have the different bathrooms available. The location is good for exploring other parts of North Devon.

Given the price, certain things could have been included, e.g. bath/shower gel & shampoo, laundry detergent and thicker cleaning cloths. There was just one bath towel per person- an additional small towel would have been appreciated. Although overall, it was clean, it was not cleaned to a high standard (we found quite a few cobwebs) and the downstairs carpet is not in a great condition.
