Whitstable The Jolly

Great location within walking distance to high street and beach. There was also a great dog walking area (Duncan Downs) within 5 minutes. Pub at the end of the road was dog friendly and people friendly too. Accommodation was clean and tidy, had everything we needed, including a secure garden for our two dogs and a hot powerful shower, this is not usually the case where we have stayed before.

Comfort and cleanliness, well equipped

It was a 30 minute walk to the harbour, but we all did the walk recommended in the cottage folder that cuts out the high street which was very pleasant

THE house is beautiful, very quiet location. Lovely big green area for dog walking, plenty of places to get food on the high street witch is only about five minutes walk.

The beach was a bit far away, if you can't walk to far or elderly but I did make it there and back.

We had breakfast indoors, we didn’t go out for breakfast.

We were just vacating the property taking stuff to the car, as we had to be out of the property at 10am, (this was a Sunday) as we were doing this two cleaning ladies were coming into the property, they didn’t ask if we were finished with the property they just walked straight in, we hadn’t closed the door at this point. I felt that they could have just sat in their van and waited until we had finished or at least asked if we were all done before entering the property. I understand that they were probably busy and wanted to get on, but it upset me enough to mention it.

Very well appointed, clean and tidy with the add on of all those little things like toiletries and washing liquids.Within walking distance to the town centre and a pub just around the corner.Loved the fact it was pet friendly and dog biscuits and bowls all provided
