"Relaxing"

10.0

Quirky and homely and very clean it’s not far to walk to town and seafront, loved the added touches like milk tea bags etc. the cottage looks exactly like the pictures .

The double bedroom the mattress was too hard but that’s our preference we didn’t sleep well but this wouldn’t stop us staying again x

"Lovely cosy cottage"

9.0

Very cosy and warm. Lovely decor and well equipped. Good proximity to the town and beach. Quiet area even though situated right on the road. Good shower. Very clean. Nice to have milk in fridge and tea/coffee

There was mould in the single bedroom around the window. Smallest bedroom is very small!

The house had lovely original features, was warm and cosy and had on street parking outside.

The bed was a bit hard in the main bedroom, having a soft topper avaialable might help

"Short break over New Year."

8.0

Walking distance to the town centre and the beach also close to lovely walks through the Country Park to Anvil Point. There was a problem with the loo cistern but it was repaired quickly and without fuss. We were there at New Year and had wonderful weather, so spent a lot of time out of doors. The smart TV came in handy when we were at the house.

Not the owners problem, but parking is pretty difficult - we ended up 250 meters away up the hill. The bed is pretty small for an adult couple, but I guess it depends on what you are used to. The building is a converted stable and there are quite a few drafts through the doors etc so its tricky to keep warm during cold weather (which we had)

"Beautiful cosy comfy cottage."

10.0

What an excellent cosy cottage. Every facility to make our short stay exceptional. We have stayed in 5 star hotels that don't have the level of comfort and cleanliness that we enjoyed here. Beautiful clean fresh bedding, and towels. Everything you need for cooking or eating in, and great choices nearby if you don't want to cook. This cosy cottage is the ideal hideaway but still connected to the world.

Limited parking, spaces are available, sometimes a short walk away.
