The Stables, relax in 5 star style and comfort with lovely walks all around

It was a beautiful place.. very quiet.. host was very charming and helpful. Very clean too with a nice welcome hamper. Bed was good also

We loved it all! The location was fantastic with the property surrounded by truly beautiful countryside all around and no neighbours on a rural country road. The Stables has it's own garden which is charming, an old fruit orchard with lovely wild grasses interspersed with mown pathways, just lovely. We had use of the large courtyard too, that we could close off so that our dogs had room to roam. The Stables itself has been very nicely converted with a comfortable living area, a small kitchen with a nice sized dining table and a very spacious bedroom with THE most comfortable bed. It's unusual to be able to sleep so well away from home. We were greeted with fresh flowers in the property, a very generous welcome basket, even a small BBQ with all necessary tools. We were within easy distance of a fabulous farm shop and some really good pubs and found it very easy to visit other towns and sights. And we loved our hostess who was extremely helpful and charming!

There was nothing we didn't like, it's a real gem.
