Adorable cottage with a log burner in heavenly village - Constable Lodge

Good location, but too close to busy road. Parking on the street. Clean property, modern appliances.

Cottage rooms size very small, particularly the second bedroom, which should not be clased as double. Ceiling repair in this room was not finished and gave the impression of lack of safety. Generally proximity to the road and other properties on the street did not allow for privacy and cosiness we were hoping.

The cottage is beautiful and very well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. It was spotlessly clean throughout and the bed was very comfortable. It was re-assuring to receive an e-mail from the hosts after our first night checking everything was ok and to contact them if we needed anything.

There really wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Location and it had everything we needed.

Lack of off street parking with dangerous road outside. It was noisy due to cars. The bedding was not set up for summer. The quilts should have been summer quilts. The kettle needed descaling.

Lovely cottage beautifully restored and presented. The house was very well equipped with everything we required.

The wasps but hopefully they were just a temporary feature

It was a very pretty property with comfortable beds and lots of amenities. Pretty village and very peaceful. Loved the enclosed garden for privacy and our dog.

Parking was a problem one night, had to park quite a way down the street but we were warned this before we went.
