4 Bedroom Detached Holiday home with Hot Tub

Good size property, has a lot to offer for a 2 night stay away! The hot tub is most definitely the selling point of this place. The house is spacious, has pretty much everything you should need. The hot water was consistently hot, which is ideal! The driveway was big enough for 4 cars.

Unfortunately, the place was filthy. The first thing we smelt when we walked in was a strong smell of curry, not always a problem for some but I personally don't like curries so for me this was quite off putting from the get go. The cups, cutterly, pans etc were filthy. The kitchen area was filthy. Broken glasses left in the cupboard. All the rooms felt filthy, the house itself offers so much but it's massively let down by the lack of cleanliness this place offers, the walls need a good painting, the skirting boards need a good clean. The gardens needed a good brush up, I found numerous cigarette ends dotted around outside. Not ideal for dogs! The mattresses were well used, and definitely in need of updating. Various rooms seemed a bit slack compared to others. Hopefully this place will get the loving it needs soon and be back up to a usable standard.

Nice home with everything that you need. The bed was large and comfortable.

The heating didn’t work. We advised the owner & she came over and fixed it but it didn’t work the whole time we were there. The stairs to the second storey are quite steep, so if you have mobility issues I would not recommend. Also the en-suite bathroom is NOT a wet area (???) so you have to try & make sure you don’t leave any water on the floor. Who ever heard of a bathroom not being a wet area! The location is also out of the way with very narrow roads.

Really lovely house and very comfortable. We had an issue with the hot water but it was sorted really quickly so no complaints at all.

We enjoyed all the aspects of the property but we did not use the hot tub which looked fine.

The house has all the amenities you could want, including a double bath! and hot tub. All the rooms are of a good size and well appointed. The other side of the narrow road and you are on the path in the Country Park, lovely area. We had one small problem with a sink plug that would not open, sorted very quickly with excellent communication. For such a small issue it was corrected with urgency. We had four strands of our family, dotted around the UK, coming to Wrexham for a family wedding. The house and hosting was just perfect.

Drive was a bit steep, but level at the top, so no big deal.

Excellent house, everything we needed and more.

The drive way is steep, but that’s the only thing that was a little difficult for less confident drivers.
