"Great little hideaway with excellent quality for money"

9.0

The cottage looked a little dated from the outside but do not let that put you off. Once inside the property was freshly decorated in a modern style, the shower and kitchen were exceptionally clean and functional. The bed linen and towels were laundered to a high standard which is important to me. I suffer mobility issues and had very little problems moving around the property once inside. This property also offers off street parking. It is very near to the beach and lakes. I noticed a well serviced bus route within a couple of minutes walk and there is a Sainsbury’s store plus local smaller stores very near by. There is a small high street with restaurants pubs and local shops and takeouts. We only stayed a couple of nights but this property is an ideal base location. I has a private back garden that would be ideal in the warmer season, we visited early March. Sue the lady I communicated with was very friendly and made us feel welcome even though there was no face to face meetings. Very good value for money we would use again

There were several rugs down on the floor but I think this was for extra warmth it being very early March when we visited so perhaps these are there for that reason

"Okay for a short break."

7.0

Close to beach. Handy for The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway (a 15 in gauge light railway) from Romney Sands and also the 102 bus to these places and Rye.

Situated in a very residential area without any nearby restaurants within walking distance for our elderly relative. Didn't like the sliding bathroom/WC door - Not soundproof. No proper dining area indoors, only a pull out table in lounge or quite a small table in a small conservatory leading from the single bedroom. This got very hot when the sun shone. Lots of midges and passing seagulls deterred us eating outdoors in the garden.
