The cottage was perfect in every way. Set in a valley with stunning views this 17th Century cottage was worth every penny for my wife and my two girls. At night you could hear a pin drop. The cottage has a quirky charm and has old ships timbers as flooring with good size rooms, a master bedroom (very comfortable), and a good size bathroom. Sam and his wife are lovely and gave solid tips about the area. I loved this half-term break.

"Much better than a campsite, especially in October!"

The location suited us perfectly and the cottage was very warm and snug when there was a storm outside! Everything that we needed was provided including a covered drying area for the wet kayaking gear!

The cottage was for four people but maybe it would have been good to have had a few more than four knives, forks and spoons, so that when using them for food prep you didn't have to wash them up before being able to eat.

"A wonderful cottage"

Nice ,clean, pretty and warm, a sweatbox of cottage, with a lovely garden and view from the top . The landlord is really a gentleman and ready to satisfy any needs. Absolutely recommended
