Entire house near beaches, footpaths, dog friendly

Location was perfect for us, as we were playing golf locally

Very spacious house, with two sitting rooms, a proper kitchen, downstairs bedroom with ensuite- and a lovely little gem of a garden! The walks around are beautiful- we all loved the beach and pubs at Instow. Great deli there too... Ours doggies needed a holiday when they got home from so much zooming on those lovely beaches!

The bathrooms, though a bit small, are nonetheless perfectly functional! Tall people beware! There is a small, overlooked area of private garden, which, with a wee bit of attention, could be another sweet spot to sit out with a book or drink... Otherwise- fantastic!

Property needed some more refurbishment but kitchen fine. En Suites/bathrooms somewhat dated and tight on space. Extractor fan in downstairs ensuite didn't work, window didn't fully close. Changed to sleep in another room as bed not satisfactory.

House was very comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay, was in a very quiet location, conveniently situated as a base for visiting the many attractions and beaches that north Devon offers and close to stunning scenery of Exmoor. Plenty of shops, restaurants and beaches within easy reach by car and excellent scenic country walks nearby.

TV was found to be faulty. Immediate response from the host Yana with new replacement delivered the next day which was unfortunately found to be damaged on arrival and had to be returned. No fault of Yana who did everything possible to rectify the situation.

The property was lovely & ideal for us as a family of 6.

Only 1 minor thing, downstairs bedroom mattress has a couple of springs coming through, but this didn’t make our stay any less enjoyable.
