Poppy Cottage, Aldeburgh - Prime location, close to the beach and High Street - Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

Loved the location just off the High Street, with food shops a few steps away selling excellent local produce to take back to Poppy Cottage kitchen where all appliances were easy to use and everything needed was provided.

Good location, cosy, very well equipped kitchen. Very good advance instructions including parking advice

It was self-catering and it was in an ideal position In the town. We liked the layout and it was well-equipped.

There is a smoke alarm in the bedroom which flashes a green light in the night. This was distracting. I agree that blackout blinds would help in the bedroom.

Small doorways very low.Iam 6'1 top of door came level with my chin. Kept banging my head. Sofa tired and not very comfortable. Parking overnight o.k. if you can find a space. Daytime parking a nightmare limited to 2 hours or 4hours if you pay.Then you have to move.Where to ? as all car parks are by now full .Staircase so small I had to stoop and go up/ down sideways.
