Very convenient location in the heart of the village. Good pub 2 minutes walk.

The bathroom is clean but really outdated. A hand held shower over the bath is not practical. You could not shower and there is not enough hot water for three people to have a bath every day. It’s time to rip it out and modernise. I also felt it would have been more welcoming when we first arrived if things had been plug in as some of the sockets were difficult to find behind bookshelves etc. We in particular would have appreciated the hot water being turned on as it is a storage system and only comes on in the early hour of the morning when electricity is cheaper. The undercover outside area was great but very dirty.

It was near the village pub.

The property is immediately on the road. Huge vehicles whoosh past this small cottage and it’s actually frightening. The beds both have metal bars blocking your feet. Only very short people could sleep in such an odd bed. Why would you ever block your feet with metal bars? We slept so badly. I messaged the property five times and they never once a answered. It was so frustrating and could so easily have been better. Very poor customer service. All I wanted to know was what coffee making facility they had. No answer! I asked five times.

It had everything you needed and more. Kitchen was well equipped. It was cute, and everything you wanted in a country cottage. Log burner is great for cold evenings.

There was dog hair in abundance! The sofa and rug in living room was covered in it. As was everything in the kitchen. Double bed was very soft, not to everyone's liking. Was advertised as having a shower, but it's just a shower attachment on bath
