Midsummer Barn

Yvonne is a very friendly host. She left some beautful home produced eggs and apple wine as well as a real glass bottle of milk.

It's a very steep lane down to the cottage and at the steepest parts it's best to drive in first gear.

Great location, traditional, warm farmhouse feel. Our own home is a converted barn so we are comfortable with the style of accommodation. The hosts have thought of everything to make you feel at home.

Very welcoming, Yvonne was lovely, There was milk, fresh farm eggs and wine left for us. Perfect little garden to let the dogs out too. In the summer I would think it would be lovely to sit in. Very well equipped kitchen with big range cooker, even had condiments, spices, and oil all there.

It was rather dark, could perhaps benefit from brighter bulbs in bedroom and bathroom and kitchen.

This is a lovely spacious cottage where you can wake up to beautiful views of the countryside. A fabulous and well equipped kitchen for family dinners and a cosy lounge to retreat to in the evenings. From the garden you can see farmland so you feel you are away from it all but the location is actually just short walk from a great pub serving food. Very warm, great wifi and stocked with games and jigsaws for rainy days. Great value for money - highly recommend!
