The location was good but in someone's garden. Was nice and warm though

Was like staying in your nans extension. Full of Nik naks. Bed was two single beds pushed together at different heights. Just felt like someone's disorganized home they live in... Was even asked to strip the bed when leaving... Not for us sorry

The location was extremely central and had all facilities within walking distance, the beds were super comfy and the apartment was clean upon arrival. Gayle upgraded us to a better suited apartment in the same gated area upon learning we were 4 individuals and not couples which was nice of her. She also had fresh milk and tea set up in the apartment upon arrival so guests could sit for 5 after travelling before heading out to shop for food

The electricity, heating and lighting around the property were very temperamental and would randomly not work for hours some nights which doesn’t help it being November where it’s dark and cold and we have no heating or light past 5pm in the hallways and bedrooms, upon leaving the owner was very accusatory of us moving objects around the apartment under the guise of “she would never allow us to rent the apartment in the state we found it” and became increasingly rude to us as we tried to negotiate the collection of our deposit. Her 3 dogs would also always bark at the door every time one of us would leave or enter the apartment and when they roamed the shared garden would growl threateningly at us, they could do with some better training. One of the key windows on the property also wouldn’t lock at all leaving us at a huge security risk for the almost 2 weeks we stayed.

Kitchen floor damaged, dangerous and still wet from a leaked washing machine. Got bitten from something during the night. The dog alarm clock not ideal…..

This property is not fit for purpose. There are flees in the sofa, we were all itchy and needing antihistamines. The whole place smells damp and plumbing smells eggy. The wet floor from ‘flood by previous guests’ is still wet after 2 nights. It is clearly a long term issue. The damp has not been covered properly so it is cold and damp you have to wear shoes to stop socks getting wet. No attempt made to dry it out with dehumidifiers. This gave my wife a bad chest. Mould on shower casing. Light switches that don’t work consistently. No explanation of how they worked on arrival. Glasses and saucepan lids are very dirty in the cupboard. Owner does not take responsibility of checking how previous guests left it. Very uncomfortable sofas as stated in many reviews. Unnecessary clutter in the lounge Blinds that are bent from damp and don’t close so no real privacy to main garden where family and other renters pass through. A hob with a ring that trips the electricity, noted a year ago in reviews. Owner said to our faces that there was no point replacing it. Other rings on the hob that turned itself off mid cooking when we put the shower on. We only tried to cook one pan of pasta and it was hot but then it switched itself off so we’ve had to eat out. Dangerous bare wires coming out of the wall in the bedroom. We’ve been since told they were disconnected but we weren’t told this ion arrival. TV in bedroom that doesn’t work so why is it there? Lamp with no lampshade, so why bother? Nettles in garden unsafe for visiting children so we have to relocate our Easter Sunday family get together. We were told these had sprung up overnight 🤣🤣🤣 Padlock in gate is rusted and keeps falling apart. Again we were told it did this especially for us however the rust was extensive. Garden furniture in featured photos is not in the garden Lots of junk in garden unsafe for small children. Padlock was on the inside of 5ft gate difficult to reach to open or unlock.
