Seascape Cottage

Unfortunately the outside area was not quite as we thought. Very disappointing terrace area, overgrown & the decking was very poorly maintained

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you could need. Was spotlessly clean. There is a big garden which was perfect for our dogs.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

What a wonderful escape on the island! The kitchen was well appointed, the directions for the appliances and heating were easy to find and follow, the rooms were cute and comfortable. And even better, our host was an absolute star! Richard was incredibly helpful and patient even when I made the rookie move of thinking that I could wait to book the ferry until 24 hours before we wanted to cross.

I screwed up the ferry. :( A word of caution that if you want to take your car across to the island that you have to book at least 2 weeks in advance. There is nothing on the CalMac website that says this, you will end up finding out the hard way when you are at the end of the booking screen. There is a work around though, worse case scenario! You can hire a car on the island- if there is a place open.

What a brilliant property, we loved our time at Seascape cottage! The pictures don’t do it justice, the cottage is in excellent condition, very cosy and homely (in the best possible way), and excellently equipped. Brilliant views over the sea and beautiful sunsets (if you are lucky with the weather)! We would definitely return should we ever come back (the property is also very hardly situated near Stornaway)

Everything there that we needed, love the ease of the television, bed comfortable and the dog loved the enclosed garden

Charming little cottage with beautiful views out of every single window in the building. Clean, cosy and just a 10 min drive from Stornoway.

We liked everything, this home is exceptional and we would not hesitate to stay here again. We felt very at home. The staff are very helpful and friendly and, communication was excellent. Overall, top quality accommodation. Thank you.

A really nice cottage, dog friendly, and good base for getting around Lewis. Big garden which the dog loved, 2nd to the Beach. Well equipped. Richard our host was really helpful, when we arrived in darkness to find the property.

Can't fault it. However a hair dryer would be useful.
