The Lodge

When we came the whole place wall covered all over in long dogs hair. The sofa, the cushions, the whole floor. When we sat on the sofa for a minute we were covered in hair too. So we sat only on the wooden dining chairs. Also clouds of hair in the corners and broken glass on the kitchen floor. Obviously no one cleaned the floor (though Molly told us they did it, not true). • no dish soap = how to clean the dishes?? • Oven light broken • Metal sheet dirty • Heater in the bathroom too cold, cold air comes through the • Cold air coming into the bathroom • Light in the kitchen above the microwave broken • another kitchen light broken • Water Kettle does not switch off automatically • Bedroom door latch defective • Living room table extremely wobbly • Washer-dryer full of dogs hair • Vacuum cleaner doesn’t suck properly because of hair • Toilet roll holder broken So i all in all the place is charminh but I woud not go there again. That the baddest experience we had in Scotland so far. We could not feel comfy because it was so dirty

Everything. This was perfect for us: remote, quiet and peaceful. Everything was catered for and the views were stunning. We stayed over the Christmas period, so bought our food and drink with us from Glasgow, but on arrival on Skye, there was a coop open on Christmas Eve at 4pm, which was still stocked with everything we would have needed. Once settled in the Lodge, we didn't want to leave! The bed was really comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed and the log burner made it very cosy. There was a path down to the beach, just outside our door and we stopped one or two people using it but they weren't close enough to disturb us. The sheep were very entertaining and great company.

The Lodge was a little difficult to find, as it's down a narrow path and through a gate, but this actually added to the privacy and seclusion. After reading previous reviews about the shower pressure, we bought our own shower head which made it a bit better.

Beautiful location and loved the decor of the lodge itself. Lovely cosy living room with stove and wonderful big comfy bed with spectacular views and loved our sheep neighbours and the waterfall. Lovely welcome with the bottle of wine- thank you! Plus quick to respond on messages. Jasper our Springer loved it and was just an extra £10 a night.

We couldn't work out how to get the telly to work or connect to the WiFi but it didn't impact our stay at all and could have easily messaged to ask. Take care on the road up to the lodge - take it nice and slow :)

Nous sommes arrivés dans le logement avec un lit non fait et une salle de bain fermée, ils nous étaient impossible de rentrer dedans. Après de nombreux appels et messages, l agence a admis que la femme de ménage n était pas passée et qu elle était donc d accord pour rembourser le séjour. Depuis plus rien aucune réponse et ils n ont pas accepté la demande de remboursement faite via booking. Qualité de service inexistante. Si tout va bien et que vous ne les joignez pas c est bon. Si vous avez besoin de les joindre la il n y a plus personne. Nous avons du trouver un hôtel à la dernière minute, expérience très désagréable !!

Prachtige locatie met een heel mooi uitzicht! We hebben genoten, vooral van de schapen.

Wel wat gedateerd. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding klop niet.

De locatie is prachtig en het huisje heel sfeervol. De kachel maakt het helemaal af. Alles is super schoon, dus erg fijn verblijf.

Het appartement heeft geen vaatwasser en er komt wat minder water uit de douche.
