Bramble Cottage - Sleeps 5

The bath/shower.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful location. Very close to Aberporth - less than a mile down the road. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped for a family of 5. Seating outside at both the front and back of cottage to catch the sun. The estate is very quiet and has good views.

The only thing lacking is a shower. You need to drive into Aberporth really as there is no footpath along some of the road.

Great setting and space, some good features and nice comfort and decoration

No shower was a disappointment. I wish the heating had already been put on and the boiler on for hot water before we arrived.

Nice relaxing set-up

Nothing apart from obvious works going on to some of the surrounding properties and the uneven nature of the drive

Good layout, nice location.

Bed was very uncomfortable, far too soft. Shower only hand held but didn't provide enough hot water to use sufficiently. Dishwasher not working and had mouldy food in it on arrival which made the kitchen smell. Also most crockery and glasses, saucepans etc. needed to be washed before use. Thermostat in the oven didn't seem to be working, either hot or not. Coffee sachets left in kitchen for guests, two thirds past their best before date and some had gone solid. No washing up sponge/cloth, no soap in bathroom, only one mostly used toilet roll for use.

We are 2 mature couples visiting Wales and stayed in a few locations. It was in a good location. Good for sightseeing. We were travelling around so we saw more. The cottage was comfortable and had all facilities.

A couple of things let it down, one was there wasn’t a shower. The shower unit attached to the bath was rather useless. Another one was a shortage of hanging space in the second bedroom.

It was exceptionally clean and tidy
