Clava Cottage City Centre

Gregor is a great host, the location is fantastic, and we had plenty of elbow room. Gregor was easily available to chat with, offers tours, had food/snacks for us, and we were just a few minutes walk across the river to old town. This was a safe, convenient stay. Its an older house with lots of charm - we felt at home. Would stay again.

Full sized beds were comfy, but the two twin beds could use pads. Lovely room and set up, regardless.

Great communication from the owner, absolutely lovely home, comfortable for our family, thoughtful touches.

This property is very centrally located, spacious,well equipped, beautifully decorated with parking and a lovely back garden area. I was given a very warm welcome by Gregor who is nearby if needed.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property.

Comfortable and nicely located near the Ness River, close to the city center. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus and train stations. An Aldi nearby was helpful and the cottage had been stocked with several essentials which was much appreciated.

Aldi supermarket round the corner, a minute away, can buy all groceries. Opposite apartment a chinese takeout, not the best food but reasonable pricing compared to the rest. The house is very big, a big garden., kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, permit holder parking from owner, lots of space parking. 1 room downstairs, 2 room upstairs. No issues in getting keys from lockbox. Owner very prompt responsive . Recommended stay.

Note if staying with friends though, there are 2 toilets , downstair one big with bath and wc. But upstairs toilet no bathing, no passing big motion. Recommended for families.

The location was good, with free guest parking and only a short walk to the city center.

The house was a bit old, the windows did not avoid any noises or cold to enter the house. The beds were small and not comfortable. Thy should be replaced. The bathroom was quite ok, except that the showerhead has a serious leak on the side, so that a big part of the water projects onto the wall instead of you

Very comfortable house, excellent location near the city centre. Would definitely stay here again. Great communication from Gregor.
