Riverhouse Lumo

The house really was a home and had so many homey amenities. We loved the sauna and the views of the river. It was quite and felt secluded but only about a km from town. As it was -5 to -14 we had a hire car and if you want to do some of the activities highly recommend a hire car

The dryer only had instructions on Norwegian so that was fun figuring it out!!

Very nice and spacious house. The owners were very friendly and kind, always available if we had questions. We were also able to see the aurora from the backyard! Highly recommend ☺️

Everything was great. A wonderful cosy house directly located at the river. The owners are super friendly and caring. We would have loved to stay longer. And who knows, maybe we will come back in winter some time

Perfect location, fantastic house! Comfy beds, great sauna & showers. Big garden, close to river, with views of the aurora.

We didn't realize you have to heat the woodstove for many hours to use the pizza-oven. Maybe a small tip on the fridgedoor.....

Great house which has everything (sauna, bbq, sleds) on a fantastic spot along the big river and next to the wilderness/woods. We saw the northern light from the backyard 2 times. Hannu is a fantastic host who helped us with everything and even took us ice-fishing on Saturday.

The house is VERY well equipped. It even has a baby security gate at the stairs Quiet, beautiful surroundings, easy to see the aurora from the berm beside the river. Lovely fireplace with massive thermal inertia. High quality sauna.

It's not really a negative, more like a neutral, but just be aware that since the house is very open, sound travels easily from the main area (kitchen/livingroom) to the bedroom. This is more to ensure that guests coming here know to expect this, and will therefore lead to less people who find it a problem complaining about it in the end. For us, it was NO problem, even with 2 noisy kids (nobody really needed to sleep very late).
