Middleton Cottages

The property is a big size and very clean. It provides a lot of what you need such as towels, cloths, soap etc. Has a big oven, lots of hobs and a microwave. There is a big sized fridge freezer. The garden is a big size. Hot tub is amazing!

Our dog is very small and was able to get through the fencing so had to keep him on a lead on the garden. Our dog is only a chihuahua so if you have any other dog you will be fine.

I stayed in Bramble Cottage for a week with my 4 children in October half term as a getaway for my 40th birthday. The kids have always been a bit sceptical about UK holidays, but they have changed their minds after this one, and would like to come back. The cottage is beautiful, the views of open countryside are absolutely stunning, I watched the sunrise each morning with a coffee from the sofa which was the perfect start to each day. We used the hot tub a few times which was very relaxing, it felt very private tucked in round the side of the cottage, yet still had beautiful open views. The facilities are excellent and the beds are comfortable. The area is very quiet, which as a busy nurse & mum was exactly what I wanted - peace & relaxation. But there was so much to do in the surrounding areas to keep the kids happy too. We walked up roseberry topping, had some local walks round the cottage, visited Yarm, Whitby, Richmond, Middlesbrough & Saltburn. There was a stand with fliers of things to do, which was very helpful in addition to things that I'd already planned. All in all, it was an absolutely perfect trip. I would definitely come back (I didn't want to leave!) and recommend it to family and friends.

Stayed in Bramble Cottage for 3 nights. Can highly recommend. The location was great, and the accommodation was superb. 3 great size bedrooms....very comfortable beds. All facilities were 5 star 🌟 and the hot tub was an added bonus.

Fantastic cottage. Lovely rooms and beautiful unrestricted view!

The only downside was that there were a lot of flies. Nothing to do with the cottage, just the location. Cannot be helped, only advice would be to take fly spray or a plug in to pop in a socket as they do become annoying in the kitchen. But didn't detract from the enjoyment.
