Ropemaker’s Cottage

Ideal location in a quiet village with walks and river close by. A short drive to Edwinstowe and Sherwood forest. Ropemakers Cottage is very comfy, especially the beds, clean and well equipped with lovely furnishings. Thank you also for all the little extras in the welcome basket, they were much appreciated : )

So many goodies left. Very comfy bedrooms. Nice and warm. Super clean. Great location. Relaxing. Loved having washing machine. Little outside courtyard would have been fab for the summer.

Curtain in hall to block off corridor to front door. Another boot/shoe tray for the front door. Very very slow hob.

It was really clean , great location . Perfect !

Absolutely beautiful place to stay looking forward to coming back.

We loved the cottage! It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for an amazing stay. Laura was also fantastic and so accommodating when we needed to drop our bags off early to get to an event. The welcome basket was such a lovely touch as well.

The only thing to note was the property is right next to a church. We sleep with the windows open and the church bells go off every 15 minutes, then ring on the hour. Didn’t affect me but my partner is a light sleeper, so it bothered him and kept him awake.

The cottage was lovely, very clean and attractive. It was in a quiet area.

So much better then any hotel; comfortable space to just relax and cook meals on our own time. Shops in walking distance too.

This place was perfect for our stay in Ollerton. The pictures show exactly what the place is like. It was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. The host was very responsive and I loved the tray of 'groceries' that was waiting for us.
