It was clean

On route to the property i received a phone call from the host stating that they weren't going to honour our booking that has previously been booked since the month of April. The reasoning behind this was that the previous guests which was staying the night before had requested to stay another night, and that we had to move to a different property, that was not up to the standard of the original booking that we had payed for in advance. This has caused me unnecessary stress and disappointment as i have booked this for my 21st birthday celebrations with friends and family. I specifically chose the original house as i have previously stayed there 2 times before and have found it to be very functional and pleasurable stay. As we arrived at the second property 5 minutes away from the original house, we encountered another issue. As we walked in there were people already in the house. We advised the people in the house that the house was booked for us and they were arguing back that it was booked for them which caused us further stress regarding our stay. At this point I didn't want to stay there at all but a visit from our host sorted this issue. I am seeking a refund for our stay as we are aware that the property we got moved to was priced considerably lower than what we payed for the original property. I believe a full refund will compensate the unnecessary stress and disruption to what was meant to be a day full of celebrations with friends and family in our preferred booking. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism from your listed hosts and as a result will not be booking through yourselves again. I am unable to understand why our booking wasn't honoured and why the host agreed for the other guests to stay an extra night when it was already booked.

Great location 10 min drive to Aber nice quite location didn’t feel overlooked or too close to other properties. Hot tub was fantastic and there was plenty of space!

Could do with a little tidying up and fixing a few door handles were broken, pool balls missing, some cans in the garden. Just a few small things.

Hot tub was the only advantage to the property

Very disappointed with the service from four season hotel, Saturday morning I had messaged regarding the heating in haul y bore as last time there was a fault and it was very cold when arriving. No one had got back to me from the messenger so I phoned the hotel only to find out were were not able to stay at haul y bore due to a situation with a previous stay leaving their stuff there resulting in them not able to enter the house, whether or not this was true I don’t know. This came to me as a shock as I had not been told by anyone that we couldn’t stay there no email, call, nothing and we were due to be leaving in an hour. I booked this place a month in advanced for a family birthday. The individual on the phone said they had other cottages available and the only option I had was to pick the others to stay in if I would like or not go. As seen in booking.com for Cottage #1 these pictures are exactly the same as haul y bore and I had asked if it’s the same and I was told yes it is its own house. So I said yes we will have to go there instead. On arrival, I was only to find out it was small building connected to another another cottage and a farmhouse which another family was staying in. The cottage was small, only 2 stories. No privacy, the front door and windows are all open, no curtains to close. I found someone’s dirty T-shirt behind the dressing table downstairs, dried up noodles on the carpet, dirty towel in one of the cupboards upstairs, toilet downstairs seemed to be leaking, bedsheets weren’t very clean. Overall I’m very disappointed as me and my family had to make do with what I was given. From staying in haul y bore twice before, I will never go back to any of these places as they clearly can’t be trusted with the booking and from previous stays the cleaning isn’t up to par.

The house it’s self was very nice but the bad out weighed the good

first the beds were awful none of us slept the mattress were springy the large double you fell down the middle of it due to it being such a soft mattress and then it also being two singles pushed together the beds squeak every time you move. The shower in the large double you can’t change the temperature of, the toilet seat is loose. The house its was freezing the heating was on but no radiators were worked, there were cobwebs in most rooms with spiders, the house was very hard to locate and was not told there were be a construction sight right next door as it wasn’t shown on photos. The hot tub had that much chemicals in it it burnt our eyes and changed the colour of our jewellery. Out side is just a massive Hazard with no fencing and the patio is so slippery one of the group members went flying and nearly hit his head. The tvs none of them connected couldn’t watch anything on any of them. The house pack was not for that house and I feel it has been printed out for multiple houses and was not the correct information for the house. Messaged property and have had no response but were quick enough to ring for payment went booking.com didn’t save card details
