Frasers of Whitby

The location is perfect for an easy walk into the main village. The house itself is beautifully and very comfortably decorated. It's all there - didn't need anything extra. The host also very kindly had coffee, tea, biscuits and milk available for our arrival.

There were quite a few stairs for my elderly mother, but she got used to them, so that's something to keep in mind as the house is over 3 levels.

This was our second stay in Whitby and we chose Frasers of Whitby for its central location and based on the excellent reviews we read. Honestly, the property exceeded our expectations, spotlessly clean, modern, great size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. Kitchen was fabulous - everything you could ever need. Plenty of on street free parking and we were able to park outside for the duration of our stay over half terms. Easy 5 minutes walk into town to the shops, bars and restaurants and just a short walk up to Whitby Abbey which was just brilliant. I would highly recommend Frasers of Whitby, there really isn't anything which could have been better, was just fabulous. WiFi was great, and so was the complementary Netflix too! Richard was the perfect host, great comms and super helpful - if you're heading to Whitby then I would highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable accommodation. Fantastic location. Host was great, and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Needs to be made clear on Booking.com app that bathroom is downstairs, and kitchen is in basement, downstairs from lounge. I don't think it's mentioned so was a surprise.

was led to believe that it had parking, but there was no allocated parking space, only street parking, which was almost impossible to get a spot

Fraser's was immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need. Kitchen and bathroom were spacious, as were the bedrooms They even supplied a welcome pack to get you started. Free parking was just outside Communication was clear and Richard was easily contactable. Would definitely return if staying in Whitby.

There are 3 floors to the property so if you struggle with stairs that could be a problem.

My friend and I loved Frasers. It’s modern, spotless and so comfortable. Although it’s in the centre of town, it’s on a slight hill and really quiet so when you want to rest up, you can. The house is so well thought out with comfort in mind. Lovely touches too with a welcome tray of goodies and milk in the fridge ready for a hot cuppa!
