"Comfortable and clean accommodation with a great hot tub"

8.0

The hot tub The main bedroom - comfortable, good size, good views Clean Good layout downstairs Convenient location if you don't mind being entirely dependent on a car

A little too close to the road (A30). The bathroom taps are a crazy design. They look nice but are hopelessly impractical, gushing water in a horizontal spray if put on more than halfway.

"A good base with all the basics you need, clean and comfortable. Some simple improvements needed."

6.0

The location was good for getting to local beaches and attractions. It was great having a hot tub which was the main reason we booked. The master bedroom is spacious, as is the downstairs area. We only cooked a couple of times, but we appeared to have everything we needed in the kitchen. The property seemed clean. Good parking.

The number of negative points may be longer but his is not a representation of the experience, I just prefer to state the things that we noted, if they are not an issue for you, you will have a pleasant stay. There were no hooks in the property to dry towels, which is essential when you are visiting beaches and using hot tub as well as showering. No bath mat provided. Towels are very small - Adults should bring their own! The hot water tank was not clearly explained in the welcome manual - it only heats the water in the early hours, so once you have used the water it is gone until the next day. The tank is a good size but when you are showering a family of four as well as before using the hot tub (as instructed), we did run out of hot water. It is an economy energy tariff set up which I would not expect in a commercial rental where guests are paying almost £200 per night. A floor tile on the rear steps came away during our stay which could have resulted in a serious injury, I was lucky and escaped with just a fright. The zero gravity chairs we not in the garden as photographed and described in the welcome pack - looks like they were in next doors garden. The front door is really stiff, would be an issue for an elderly couple. The stair gate is in the middle of the bottom step which makes the step unusable due to a bottom bar, it could be a trip hazard. For us it was just an annoyance. 2nd bedroom windows are easily accessed by small children and the lower half opens which feels like a big hazard for families with young children, ours are older now so did not concern us, but feels like you should only be able to move the top pane down instead of the bottom pane up.

Great property, great location.

it would’ve been good to have a foldable roof or umbrella over the jacuzzi.
