Loved everything about the old stable! Fantastic and responsive hosts, super generous and yummy welcome basket. Pristinely clean and very tasteful and comfortable decor. Well appointed kitchen with so many tools. The combo washer/dryer worked great for us. Great water pressure in shower with perfectly hot water. And the conservatory was beautiful and the perfect place to hang out with your morning coffee/tea or evening beverage. Bedroom is upstairs. (Note: if you are taller than 5’11”, you’ll need to really watch your head in the bedroom bc of the angle of the vault, but you’ll get used to it.) We’ve been traveling for the last 7.5 months and this was by far one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in and some of the best sleep we’ve gotten. Nightstands on each side of bed, generously sized dresser and plenty of hangers. Bedroom has skylights with shades and the room gets plenty dark at night. There are walkable fields right next to the property that you can explore and you’ll see pheasant and pigs. Grocery store is walkable, but it’s a good walk. This slice of heaven is peaceful and so relaxing, so if that’s your cup of proverbial tea, this is the place for you to spend some time! 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank you. Caroline & Paul! ❤️

Nothing, it was the perfect stay!

Eine superschöne, gemütliche und sehr saubere Unterkunft. In dem Häuschen hat es an nichts gefehlt. Der Wintergarten mit Blick aufs Meer ist grandios! Bei unserer Ankunft fanden wir viele Leckereien (frisches Brot, Eier, Butter, Müsli, Scones, Cream, Marmelade, Milch, Süsigkeiten, eine Flasche Secco usw.) vor. Das ganze Häuschen ist so liebevoll eingerichtet und dekoriert! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, absolut 100% zu empfehlen! Danke, dass wir Gäste im "Old Stable" sein durften!

De mooie ligging, het uitzicht en de zeer gastvrije en vriendelijke eigenaren Caroline en Paul. Zeer compleet en gezellig appartement met mooie serre. Leuk welkomstpakket bij aankomst!

Everything. Our mouths dropped when we walked in .Caroline and Paul welcomed us like old friends. The welcome pack was surprisingly nice. Fresh laid eggs cerial milk and lovely fresh baked scones with jam and cream. Yumm flowers 💐 and the bedroom. Loads of cds to listen to. The views of the sea and fields were to die for. Thanks to you both. Will highly recommend.

The view, isolated and private. Lovely welcome basket when you arrived,goodies in the fridge and homemade scones with cream. Every possible thing had been thought of for self catering, you couldn’t wish for anything better.

The bumpy road to access the property. The bedroom you had to be careful not to bump your head on the eaves.

Lovely welcome hamper, wonderful hosts, nice secluded property, beautiful old stable.

Not a dislike just a suggestion. Could have done with either a pavement or stepping stones down to the property. As was raining heavily and grass was slippery.
