We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Chapel Cottage. The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. It was warm, cosy and felt like a real home from home. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was excellent. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding countryside, with stunning walks, lakes and scenic drives all within easy reach. Dinas Mawddwy is a lovely, peaceful village, making it the ideal place to unwind after a day out. The host was welcoming, friendly and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more.

Keys were left in door for us so easy access

Lounge furniture could be better as very uncomfortable and felt like they are going to break. Backs very sore now Bathroom radiator lose Bath taps lose Some of the plug sockets lose Lots of the floorboards felt lose Banging through the night like a door banging or window Couldn’t open windows

"Lovely house in a great location, will be back"

Great location, 3rd time staying. Host as lovely as always. Beds are comfy enough and good nights sleep gained. All amenities are provided that are needed. Good kitchen, dinning table and lounge chairs. Log burner was nice touch too. Did not use the TV but looked good. Wish wifi would reach around the whole property instead of having to stand by dinning room table, in the kitchen or in the bunk bed room, but this is a minor point in the modern world, hence I wrote it here as opposed to in the negative box. This certainly would not stop me booking for a 4th, 5th, 6th time. Thank you again for letting us stay in your wonderful house.

The location was excellent as we wanted to do lots of walking. There were a number of circular walks accessible directly from the village. The pub opposite was very friendly and served very good food and the Chinese restaurant and the village cafe were excellent.
