"Pleasant and good value for money."

6.0

Good location for walking into Looe. Nicely decorated.

The garden was quite overgrown making it difficult to walk along the paths. Shower leaked through the kitchen ceiling.

"Passable"

5.0

We loved the location.

We found it hard to relax in the lounge due to inadequate comfortable seating for 4 adults. Garden was very over grown and in need of some of the shrubs being pruned back so it does not obscure the beautiful view. Couldn't find any cushions for the outdoor furniture & the outside table was very small and made it difficult to enjoy a BBQ. Having received an email stating there would be a dog bed provided, we didn't bring one only to find out nothing was supplied for our dog. We appreciate the property was aimed at dog owners which is exactly what we were looking for however we were disappointed at the general cleanliness. We think this could be a fantastic property as its in a prime location but we feel it needs some serious TLC both inside and outside to bring it back up to standard.

"Not impressed"

It was in in Looe It took dogs There was enough space TV had good choice to watch when back in the evenings Thankfully the heating was on morning and evening, as it was a cold week.

My bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard and lumpy spring's, I hardly slept, I was in agony it crippled my back, springs sticking into my lower back. Unfortunately I/we had to leave early, we left Friday morning. I did advise the owner about the bed, she told me it was down to choice, some people like hard mattresses, (I have a firm mattress at home it has a gel top). I tried putting a blanket under me and laying on half the duvet folding the other half over me to make it a little more comfortable, it wasn't much better. Luckily I'd brought a couple of our dog blankets I was able to help me keep warm. Thankfully the heating was on morning and evening in most areas of the house, but unfortunately not in my room and the window was stuck open with a gale force cold wind coming through. The bathroom with the bath, sink and toilet radiator worked well, heating was lovely and hot. However, we are shower users and the radiator in the shower room with sink, didn't work, very cold. The lounge furniture wasn't very comfortable either. I'm 70, and had no problem walking up and down the road to Looe village, but I do gym training. I feel older less active people might have a problem with unloading their car in the allocated car space across the road to the house and getting their luggage up the steep slope to the house. I did ask the owner before heading on holiday if the coffee machine advertised in their writeup actually worked, (as I'd been caught out before), and if it took Pods of coffee grounds and what I should bring? She suggested either. As I explained I like an espresso in the morning. On arrival I checked and got them out of the cupboard I have never seen either of the maker's before and wouldn't know how they put together. But at least there was a plunger I could use. Nowadays, when people advertise a 'coffee machine', you expect a proper coffee machine!

"Beautiful property, amazing service"

8.0

Beautiful view from the garden. Decor was well thought out and the bag of treats and cakes were a very cute touch!

The living room is so uncomfortable, there isn’t anywhere to sit and relax, especially when travelling with people that need to rest up in the evening. This place would be amazing if there was a comfortable sofa and an armchair! Finding the property was a challenge, a clearer signpost, or clear name on the bin would have made a HUGE difference.

The cottage was lovely and warm upon arrival. The cake was a yummy touch, and our dog loved her treats, too.
