Picturesque 2 Bedroom Miners Cottage Near Bike Park Wales & Brecon Beacons

The location for bike park Wales and the secure bike storage could be the only possible positives.

There is no actual parking it's on street and the local residents even go out of their way to prevent you from parking. So when you turn up after a long day on the trials with four bikes and bags to unload you can't actually do that unless you block the entire road and make everyone else wait. We then had to park two streets away . The beds are awful, extremely old and well overdue a replacement mattress and the futon/sofa has very little to no support so extremely uncomfortable to sit on let alone use as a bed. The property wasn't clean and had vomit stains on walls, upstairs smelt of stale urine, pubic hair still left in the shower form the last occupier and broken dining chairs. It was that bad we left early and the only response from the holiday management agent was we will let the owner know. I wouldn't stay here again. But if you arrive by train and are used to living in a cardboard box for comfort then this will seem like luxury!

If it was clean it would have had everything you’d need for a couple of days cycling nearby.

There was an overwhelming smell of mould and wetness, which they obviously knew about because there was a dehumidifier in the bedroom. The kitchen crockery all smelt badly of mould, as did the soft furnishings. We had to wash our clothes thoroughly when we got home to get rid of the smell.

Very clean and tidy, comfortable bed. Kitchen nicely done. Good secure bike storage.

Shower cubicle is on the snug side but worked really well and the cottage has been done to a very nice standard throughout.

Bed was comfier than my own! Nice clean property. Perfect for our needs
