"A beautiful spot in a stunning part of the world."

9.0

It was clean, comfortable, felt very welcoming. The beds were super comfy and the whole place was light and airy. It’s entirely private and not overlooked. The garden is lovely.

If we had to nit pick, because really it’s a smashing holiday spot, it takes a little patience to drive in and out of the parking space as there are bends in the road which make it a little tricky to see what’s coming - but it’s not a big issue.

"Lovely location and well presented good quality cottage with a good eye for decorative detail."

8.0

The property felt damp and clothes equally felt damp. There was also a tendency to host bugs in the bathroom and back bedroom although I do not know the actual type of bug. Probably due to when window was opened to allow ventilation.

"A memorable stay in St Ives."

8.0

Clean, beautiful, spacious, welcome bag plus milk in the fridge was nice to arrive to, very responsive staff when needed something. A wow when you walk in to the garden.

Lack of pavement to easily walk into St Ives and vehicles just thundered past. Felt like me and my family were putting our lives in our hands walking on the road when leaving the house. Even carried the dog a few times to ensure his safety. A kind local shared that we could cut through the field and road but still had a section that was dangerous. Definitely needs a reflection mirror as well for vehicles leaving.

"Not for everyone"

5.0

The house is nicely decorated and fitted with modern appliances. It's very clean, a good size and is close to St. Ives.

The house does have a lot going for it, but we didn't feel at home there. The main issue is that there is very little natural light in the main living space and master bedroom. It's also quite cold so the overall feel of the house is a little like a cave. This may not be an issue for everyone, but definitely was for us. There is also a busy and fast road immediately outside the front which is very loud when you are sitting in the garden.
