Location is handy for station into the city. Within walking distance of a supermarket. Property was clean. Generally well equipped But see the comments below

A number of niggly issues in what could be a good apartment. No instructions for using heating or TV/skybox. 3 steps to the front door, 14 inside it and 2 more inside would be a problem for less mobile and that's not clear on booking.com. No bedside lights in bedrm 1, twin bedded room has two bedside lights but no plug for one, 3rd bedroom had bedside light which didn't work. Bedroom 2 and 3 have weak 'nightlight' bulbs in the main light ...completely impractical. Bath panel is loose. No wall mirror in bathroom. Bath tap drips all the time. Beds are just acceptable but at end of life.

Easy access to shopping and family get together

The house was close to the railway station with trains to Glasgow city centre. Free parking off road was good. I'd read complaints about the staircase to the property but didn't feel that this was an issue. The apartment was reasonably clean, however parts had been missed. There was adequate living space for 6 people, but the dining table only seats 4.

Not acceptable is the ill-fitting toilet seat, which slips around when someone is sitting on it. Also, the shower tray doesn't drain, the tap leaks in the bath and water leaks between the bath and the shower window, making the floor very wet! The beds are really uncomfortable and you can feel the base through them. The light fittings are home to plenty of cobwebs and one of our guests got an electric shock from an extension lead. In the kitchen, the problems continue. The space is minute, but workable. However disappointing was that there are just enough mugs for four adult guests with just a further 2 wine glasses.. and the house sleeps 6 : Plates/dishes are mismatched and sparse.. The lights in the bedrooms barely give out any light. All in all, the house is adequate and reflects the price we paid to stay there. But it does needs attention.

House has many issues that need to be repaired. Beds were worn out and should be placed in the trash.

For a group of four, there was more than enough space to spend our evenings in and sleep the night. Neighbourhood was quiet, house had a nice small kitchen to make simple meals in, and taxi to the centre of the city or SECC was affordable. Place was clean, it had all the amenities we needed for few weeks, and the property owner was easy to get a hold of and made it easy and comfortable to stay in the house.

The stairs up were a bit steep, and the handrail was a bit wobbly. Otherwise nothing to complain about!

Close to the train station and shops.

The flat had not been cleaned too well - we found a vape and a jigsaw blade between the sofa cushions and under a cabinet, we found a vape juice. In one bedroom the bed did not have a bed sheet, only a mattress protector and was not comfortable at all. Two bedroom light bulbs barely turned on and were very dim so at night it was very hard to see. A valve on the radiator was broken (which we were told about and they asked to come and fix it but nobody arrived) and a leak under bathroom sink which we had to put a tray beneath it to limit water damage. The kitchen sink tap was very wobbly and loose. In the bathroom, the door has windows in and you can see through so there is no privacy, as well as the toilet being right behind the door so you can only open the door so much which is probably why the toilet seat was loose. Garden views were appalling as there was rubble and rubbish. No mention of stairs before arriving and they were steep stairs which we were not impressed with as a member of my family has been in and out of hospital recently and has had issues with mobility.

Great location. Easy to find the property. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. We were able to park the car in the driveway at the house.

Just a minor thing as the TV didn’t seem to be picking up any channels. Possibly a problem with the satellite dish. However the Wi-Fi was excellent so we could log into Prime and Netflix. So not really a major problem for us.
