Bolton's Cottage

Absolutely beautiful cottage. It has everything you could need. So clean & spacious, nothing out of place - its perfect!! Parking an added bonus. Wonderful owners who give such a warm welcome.. Just a 10/15 minute walk into the centre of oakham.

Lovely cottage and perfectly located for Rutland Water. A log burner would be an added bonus. Beds were comfy but a little soft for my husband and I. Duvets and bedding were excellent.

It was such a lovely surprise to arrive and see a wonderful collection of dog paraphernalia and treats waiting for us and our faithful hounds! A lovely home from home cottage with lots of other nice touches such as toiletries in the bathrooms, a comprehensive collection of kitchen items for home cooking and a collection of information and books on the local area. Quiet location and great place to chillout plus areas to go to in the immediate area with the dogs. Warm welcome and good communication throughout.

The cottage was well presented in a lovely location. Everything was as described in the listing and booking. Overall, our stay was great. And it snowed!

This cottage is an absolute gem of a place to stay. We had 3 nights over Xmas whilst visiting family close by. It’s in a very quiet location whilst being close to amenities. 20 min walk into Oakham town centre. It’s warm, welcoming and tastefully decorated. There’s a small kitchen but it has absolutely everything you need to cook a meal and plenty of comfy sofas to relax on. We had 3 lovely days there and will definitely book again when staying in the area
