Fosfelle Cottages

Host was friendly and helpful before and on arrival. Clean property with plenty of kitchen ware, towels, etc. Beds were comfortable and the linen decent. Nice quiet location where we felt safe and there was space to park our car. Plenty of storage in the good sized bedrooms. Coffee machine was a nice touch. WiFi was good. Kids enjoyed saying hello to the goats.

It's not really a cottage, it's a barn conversion which is split in to 4 flats, which was quite disappointing, especially that we were in an upstairs flat with a massive outside staircase and 2 young kids plus a dog. It also felt quite small in the living area. The shower was not thermostatic so it was very difficult to get the temperature right. The shower enclosure itself was very small. The hot tub is communal, not per flat and is in the main building, which we found a little odd - I don't recall seeing anything about this when I booked it. The heating comes on at the times the owner has set, you can't alter it, so if you're cold then tough. If you're too hot, you best open the window. Overall it just felt far too expensive for what you get. The dog was an extra £25 too.

Lots of games little extras to entertain the kids, board games, dvds, hot tub and games room all great.
