GBImmaculate property in a stunning place. We could not have been any more impressed. It has been beautifully renovated. The bathroom is fantastic and the bedroom has a lovely stone wall feature behind the bed. The lounge is cosy and the kitchen is fitted with everything you need. The whole place was lovely and warm (even without putting the log burner on). Then, the view out of the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. You must book this place just for the view! The host is so lovely and messaged us with plenty of places to walk/eat before we arrived. The property is a 10/15 minute walk to the top of the hill to the Monsal Head where you can join the Monsal Trail. We ended up walking to Bakewell! We then managed to get a bus back!

In the middle of the night and early morning it was quit cold through out the home as the heating was on a timer could do with a boost button or something that guests can access in the home themselves.

GBThe property was exceptionally clean and very homely, comforting, relaxing. We went for a rest and certainly had it. We felt very cosy with the log burner on and nice throws to keep us warm as it got a bit chilly in the evening. There was everything we needed in the property. Thank-you so much to the lovely hosts for letting us rent their property

GBVery cosy, comfortable, beautifully decorated apartment, large ensuite shower with drench and normal head (hurrah! can't bear a drench head only), spacious bedroom, incredibly comfortable bed, good quality linen, and superior specification lighting. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable dining chairs, comfy sofa, and some lovely touches from our hosts such as biscuits and the fire laid ready for lighting on arrival. Stunning views across the valley to the Monsal Trail - and cute balcony area for fine weather days.
Quite tricky to find in the dark. If you approach downhill from Litton the house is on the right and you might be able to see the River View sign on the wall. If you approach uphill from Monsal Head you can't see anything other than a stone wall.
GBThe view is truely stunning and the host appears to have thought of everything and checked in with us to see if everything was OK and was very friendly.
