"A modern, beautiful home in the center of a quaint village."

The location was fantastic. Located right on the High Street in town. However, the property is set back from the street and therefore is quiet and has a fantastic view.

"Fabulous stay at The View *****"

I'm so happy to write this review now. "The View" guest house is the most astonishing place we ever stayed and this comes from a couple with a little boy that have been fortunate enough to stay in some incredible places all over the world but this guest house is simply one of a kind! The two double bedroom property is amazing and very generous in size, the view is stunning over the country side with beautiful rolling hills, the rooms are really comfy and nicely designed, same as the enormous living room and the kitchen. The terrace and the garden are so nice that you only wanna enjoy it and forget about exploring the surroundings. The hospitality of our host, Ann was by far one of the best things of our stay, although we had no time to see each other, she was always happy to share tips, recommendations and suggestions, answers to any questions, any time of the day. I will encourage all my friends and family to plan a stay to this amazing guest house! Thank you, Ann. It was a truly wonderful yet short experience, and we'll definitely come back for more! "Beautiful views and perfect accommodation-will return!"

The View is a stunning property looking out over the Blackmore Vale.Beautifully styled and very quiet even though it’s in the centre of Shaftesbury. Lovely balcony area, everything you need in the kitchen, relaxing living area, good bathroom and two spacious bedrooms. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and would happily book this property again.

How spacious, clean and new it was. Amazing view.

No parking but we did know that, it’s a shame considering there is room outside the entrance for a car.
