Little Barn Peak District

The little barn is perfect for couples in Peak District Area. It’s very easy to find and the host was awesome. Her communication is very clear and really thought about all the little things to make this trip special for my wife and I. She has a detailed guide for things to do in the area, which helped. The barn is well designed and the fittings and finishes are good quality and very comfortable. Basic breakfast stuff was provided, which was awesome, as was a bottle of champagne and some chocolate.

We didn’t have any issues with the property really. One thing to note, there is a glass floor between the living room and bedroom so it’s not ideal for guests that aren’t traveling as a couple (didn’t affect us).

We had a lovely new year stay at Little Barn! The location was perfect, rural and with lovely views and the barn was warm cosy with great facilities like toiletries, and plenty of kitchen equipment. As mentioned in other reviews there were lots of little touches to make the stay feel very special!

The only downside was the boot and shoe store being a little way from the door. We were more than happy to not wear shoes inside, but the boot store could do with being close enough to reach from the door or a shelter over the doorway. It was pouring with rain and dark when we arrived so we ended up getting wet and getting muddy socks when making sure we followed the no shoe rule. A very small issue, and perhaps there was a better system we could have used! But it did dampen the arrival a little. Don't avoid the barn because of this, just bring a pair of sliders to slip on to grab your boots :)

The accommodation and location were stunning - the little details were unexpected which made the stay even more special. The host was attentive yet allowed privacy throughout the stay.
