"Our stay was comfortable and relaxing ."

9.0

Close to the seafront and beach.

More crockery would be beneficial for larger parties. It would be helpful if the door number and not cottage name was mentioned in pack.

"Enjoyable experience"

7.0

Excellent location and a good sized roomy cottage. Comfortable and bright living room. The upstairs bedrooms were bright and inviting. The provision of some milk in the fridge was appreciated.

The property is on the very busy road, where it is fine to park for unloading and loading. We moved the car onto the seafront wall for the remainder of the stay and walked the short distance through which worked out well. The double glazing meant no road noise inside the property.

8.0

Comfortable beds. Good shower. Separate lounge and kitchen. Great location for exploring Cullen - beach coastal walks town etc. lovely hotel nearby.

Tricky to find on first day and unloading bags etc not exactly easy. Back garden was enclosed but dog was able to hop over low wall to neighbour. Front garden not enclosed

"Another enjoyable family visit and get together with relatives in Cullen"

8.0

Cullen is a small and attractive seaside resort on the Moray Coast, a combination of a former fishertown and a planned estate town with a pleasant little stone harbour and a sandy beach. The immediate countryside consists of rolling farmland dotted with small villages and towns. Buckie still a working fishing port is the best place for supermarkets etc. Cullen has a good range of cafes and interior design and collectable stores as well as eating places, the Yellow Delhi, the local fish and chip shop and the Royal Oak stand out, the Book shop and cafe the BEINN is also recommended.

As with most similar small seaside resorts the High Street focusses on those looking to enhance their seaside cottages.

"Provided everything it said it would, in a lovely village."

8.0

Location ideal for able bodied people. Needed to be able to manage the steps down from the road, or walk on level from the Royal Oak up to the cottage. We were able to easily access the Coast. Good food at local pub.

No toilet downstairs, so used the upstairs bedroom rather than the downstairs one, we had planned to. Our fault for not reading details better.

"Perfect seaside cottage in Cullen."

10.0

The cottage was welcoming and homely with all that was needed and more for the stay. There is a seaside, nautical theme throughout and the bedrooms particularly comfortable. The rear patio is ideal for sitting in the evening. The beach is only a short walk away and the location perfect My grandson learned to play chess on the board supplied.

The only thing I can think of is that I couldn't master the microwave/grill!

Location perfect. Clean and good facilities.

An extra toilet would have been better.
