The Wee Cottage by the Ferry

The cottage is a stand alone unit with a fantastic water view of all the boat traffic on the Clyde. We could spend the whole day just watching the different ships, ferries and sailboats cruise by. Private off street parking made it easy to off load baggage. The cottage itself was built with efficiency in mind with a full kitchen including dishwasher and freezer. Breakfast fixings were on hand making it simple for the first day in the cottage. The bathroom was roomy, light and modern. The upstairs bedroom had a nice view of the river and skylights made it bright. The bed and linens were comfortable and road traffic at night was minimal. We really enjoyed the hosts who were available for any need or just a chat and wealth of information. Ferries to Dunoon and the Isle of Bute were close by. We liked the walking path across the road that you could walk to Gourock.

Cottage exceeded our expectations.

The views are stunning from there and it is well furnished and stocked. Good location for exploring surroundings. The host was friendly and very responsive.

It would be top marks in everything if the bedroom had blackout blinds. The street lights outside are quite bright so the room is never properly dark. This was a problem for our young daughter. For people without kids, an eye mask will do the trick.

Nice place in a good location for getting around the area. Well equipped and comfortable. Great having friendly owner next door.

Only minor quibble is the location of TV on relation to sofa.

The breakfast was lovely. Such a lovely touch. The wee cottage was amazing. Kevin was a fantastic hoast. Communicated well. Put the heating on..lovely touches throughout the cottage. Nothing a bother to Kevin

Absolutely Flawless..Great value ..very homely Spotlessly Clean..Fabulous Location ..Fantastic Hospitality everything has perfect attention to detail ...2nd time staying here would recommend 110%¡. We even had perfect weather to go out for a walk along The River Clyde. Perfect Hosts thanks for a fabulous weekend !!!! Until the next time Amanda & Bernie🥰🥰

NOTHING!!!! not very often you get perfection but I can honestly say this is a perfect wee hidden gem.

Excellent location close to centre. Parking at property. Cottage was bright, comfortable and clean and so peaceful. Host kevin was only a phone call away. Stunning views and would definitely book again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Spotlessly clean in a great seafront location, ideal for jumping on the ferry and exploring the Cowal Peninsula.

Can't think of anything, we had a lovely stay.

It was cosy for winter trip away. You could sit looking out the window all day and watch the water even spotted dolphins. Would definitely recommend and would stay again
